This wine from the family owned Bodegas Quintafiel, located in Peñafiel, in the heart of Ribera del Duero, is elaborated with 100% Tempranillo grapes.
It is intense red hinted with purple, intense and bright. It has 2 aroma layers: the first one is full of fruity sensations, reminiscent of forest fruits, while in the second notes typical to the variety, such as liquorice, cinamon, vanilla and clove, are present. It feels unctuous when in the mouth, with a fruity and tanin aftertaste product of the correct maturation of the grapes. The right level of acidity gives it a mellow and refreshing touch, with hints of minth and chocolate coming from its 5 months in French and American oak casks.
Perfect to pair with red meats, semi-cured and cured cheese, such as manchego, and cured meats.
